Engineers successfully reconnected three temporary boilers at Kendal last night which serves the heating and hot water to approximately 200 homes.

This includes homes at Brinkburn Close, Brinkburn House, Brinkburn Lane, Brinkburn Place, Brinkburn Street, Gordon House, Gordon Road, Kendal Green, Kendal House, Kendal Place, Kendal Street, Norfolk Square, Priory Green, Raby Street and Shipley Place.

Customers living in those homes should feel heating and hot water this morning. If you don’t, please call our freephone number 0800 533 5442 and select option 1, and we’ll follow this up immediately.

The Council have also told us that engineers will be working throughout today to reconnect the boilers at Chirton, which supply heating and hot water to 181 homes. We’ll be getting further updates from the Council this afternoon to find out when this service will be resumed and we’ll provide an update to customers via SMS as soon as we can.
