Michelle Bell

Assistant Director - Byker Community

Michelle’s career in social housing spans 26 years that started at Newcastle City Council in 1995, followed by roles in Your Homes Newcastle and Homes England. Michelle joined the BCT project team in September 2011 and in July 2012 when BCT was formed, she became responsible for heading up Property Services within BCT and delivering the Byker asset management and investment programme, including the delivery of repairs and maintenance, voids, compliance, health & safety and grounds maintenance functions.

Michelle was appointed Assistant Direct – Byker Community as part of the transfer of engagements with Karbon Homes and is responsible for managing the Byker Estate and ensuring the commitments of the transfer and the customer Community Pledge are successfully delivered.

Lynsey Hall

Head of Housing & Community

Lynsey joined BCT in 2018 responsible for overseeing effective performance and service delivery for customers. Lynsey manages the customer service and neighbourhood housing teams, focusing on achieving high performance. Her focus is on a wide variety of areas including tenancy and estate management, customer services, customer engagement, welfare reform and tenancy sustainment and anti-social behaviour.
