There are smaller apartments suitable for students or single people which are close to the City, the two universities and colleges, as well as spacious 2,3 & 4 bedroom family homes. We also have two sheltered houses schemes on the Estate for older residents which have recently undergone major refurbishment and had extensive fire safety modifications.

The Estate was designed and built to tie in with the landscape, so many properties have great views of the river and are south/south west facing so get lost of sunshine.

A Great Location

Byker is situated in a great location, close to the  City Centre with lots of facilities both on the Estate and within a 10 to 15 minute walk. It is the perfect location for shopping and leisure. With the Metro and excellent bus services situated on the Estate, Byker offers easy access to the whole of the region.

The Estate has churches, two primary schools (Church of England and Roman Catholic), pubs, social clubs, its own shops. There is a library, swimming baths and even a climbing wall.
