Engineers from Newcastle City Council have successfully reconnected the remaining three boilers which serve heating and hot water to approximately 181 homes.

Engineers successfully reconnected three temporary boilers at Kendal last night which serves the heating and hot water to approximately 200 homes.

The Council have provided an update to confirm that engineers have been working on site all day at Kendal and Chirton.

Our colleagues are continuing to call customers affected by the loss of heating and hot water to their homes last week.

Customers living in the following streets are now eligible for a new bathroom including the installation of a shower and the replacement of internal doors.
