Why is customer participation so important?


We want to provide excellent housing and developing thriving communities that our customers are proud to live in. 

To achieve this, we know we need to work with, and listen to you, our customers. We want to understand what our customers want and what they would like their homes and communities to look like. 

Why should customers get involved? 

You can actively help to shape your community, and the service you receive.  

There are plenty of ways to get involved, whether it’s specific to Byker or Karbon as a whole. 

What opportunities are available to me as a customer?


All our engagement opportunities are outlined in the tenant engagement framework. Our Community Engagement Officer, Bijoli, is responsible for all the activities, events and engagement opportunities throughout the estate.
