Director of Finance and Resources

James joined BCT in November 2017, bringing with him past experience of working with other housing associations in Newcastle.

James’ principle role is looking after the financial health of BCT, making sure that our Investment Plan is affordable and that the Business Plan is robust. He ensures that our services provide good value for money for the tenants of Byker. An important part of his job is to manage and account for risk and to make sure that BCT’s governance and controls are strong enough to meet new challenges that the business faces. James is also responsible for the BCT’s Company Secretary role.

James is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts.
