Become a BCT shareholder
The BCT is committed to giving all tenants and the local community a say in the management of the organisation, a key opportunity is by becoming a shareholding member.
We would welcome and encourage more tenants to become members of the BCT, it only costs £1 to do so. Being a Tenant Member and having Shareholder Status will allow you to have a say in the management of BCT, receive copies of the annual report and accounts, vote at the Annual General Meeting, attend and vote at Special General Meetings and to be consulted on any changes to our rules.

Who is eligible to become a member?
Tenant shareholding membership is open to every tenant who has an up to date rent account and is not in breach of their tenancy conditions.
Independent Shareholding membership is open to those who have an interest in the welfare of BCT tenants, or in the provision of affordable homes in Byker. Membership application are considered by BCT Board.
